Upcoming Zimdancehall artiste Darlington Kanodeweta – AKA Ninja Chrispley is set to drop a new single titled “Muchiriko here baba kumarimuka.”

In an online interview with this publication, the talented singer revealed that the single is now ripe and is to be released soon.

Ninja Chrispley entered the music arena in 2004 and has 7 singles to his name. His debut track “Fundo” was not very successful due to poor marketing. It was followed by 6 other hit tracks that also failed to make a breakthrough because of the same reason. Darlington believes that with better marketing strategies, his music can reach greater heights.

Born in Uzumba (Karimbika), the young chanter has not produced any album or video to date owing to the high cost of production.

“I have failed to produce an album throughout my entire musical journey because the cost of producing music is too much for upcoming artistes like me”, lamented Chrispley.

He (Ninja Chrispley) opined that young and upcoming musicians are being looked down upon by producers and promoters. The 20-year-old artiste expressed concern over the way various stakeholders in the music industry are failing to promote young talent.

Asked where he draws his inspiration from, the soft-spoken musician had this to say: “Growing up in Uzumba (Karimbika) where Jah Prayzah was also born and bred inspires me a lot. I want to emulate his success story.”

In his genre, he singled out Winky D as a Gaffer-mentor – and a great source of inspiration to many upcoming artistes.
