Patricia Banda aka Miss Tee, a 29-year-old female Zim dancehall artiste is finding it difficult to rise to stardom in the music industry due to lack of financial resources. The talented singer has so far failed to make a breakthrough since launching her professional music career in 2014.
Born in Harare (Glenview), Miss Tee has written and produced a number of potential hits but has failed to hit the peak owing to financial constraints.
“I never launched anything officially due to shortage of financial resources. What l did was to market my songs through WhatsApp”, lamented the young songstress.
Miss Tee gets her inspiration from all successful women. In her genre, she mentioned Lady Squanda.
“Every woman who is on top inspires me, but for my genre, I can say Lady Squanda”, she said.
In one of her singles titled “Upenyu ivhiri”, the young chanter highlighted how life changes with each passing day. She stressed the need to help the socially disadvantaged in life. The single encourages people to help each other so as to break social barriers brought about by poverty.
Like most of her tracks, her latest offering “Zunza” has failed to reach the appropriate market resulting in the track circulating on WhatsApp.
