SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA – Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Spiked Online Media that establishes a relationship between the two entities to conduct peace projects toward the goal of achieving peace in the world.
The MOU signing ceremony was done on the sidelines of the HWPL World Peace Summit that was held in Korea from 18 to 21 September 2023.
In her remarks during the MOU signing ceremony, Hyuna Lee, the HWPL Chief Branch Manager said the common purpose shared by the Parties is the promotion of peace, harmony, and development among all people, including women, the youth, religious leaders, and leaders of nations which is the promotion of a culture of peace.
Byron Adonis Mutingwende, the Editor of Spiked Online Media expressed his willingness to collaborate and conduct projects identified as effective mechanisms to achieve peace and cessation of war.
The Parties agree to support one another in their individual efforts to further the cause for peace and, more importantly, agree to work together in a manner that shapes their actions in cohesion with their common purpose.
HWPL projects include, but are not limited to, peace education, the erection of peace monuments, the operation of the World Alliance of Religions’ Peace (WARP) Office, activities to support the implementation of the 10 articles and 38 clauses in the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW), events and functions for national leaders, women, and youth groups.
Such activities include the projects and activities carried out by the International Peace Youth Group (IPYG) and/or the International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG), which align with the common purpose and cause of the parties.
HWPL shares various activities such as holding international conferences and helps strengthen journalists’ capabilities on the HWPL agenda.
Spiked Online Media is a private entity established in 2015. The purpose of the establishment of the organization is to bring the people of the region to a better state by providing fresh, unbiased news both from Zimbabwe and internationally. It is the media house that is doing its part to bring peace and democracy to the country. It covers all beats from sports, to politics, entertainment, business, social, health, and so forth.
