DStv viewers always enjoy increased levels of entertainment during the festive season each year, so a bonus gift from MultiChoice on offer from December 19 to January 31 will help them get their wish.
Liz Dziva, publicity and public relations manager of MultiChoice Zimbabwe, said the Christmas season offer is for upgrades to the next-level package at no extra cost.
“From December 19 to January 31 DStv customers need only keep their DStv subscriptions active and they will be given a free upgrade to the next highest package free of charge,” she said.
“For example, a subscription to the DStv Compact Plus package will be upgraded automatically and at no cost to a DStv Premium package, giving viewers an even greater variety of channels and content to enjoy.”
The idea of the festive season being a great time for families to be together and enjoy family viewing lies behind the offer in what is always known as the season of giving.
“We know DStv Premium customers delight in the array of viewing options open to them all year round, with increased levels of all kinds of entertainment at this time of year, so we know the DStv Compact Plus viewers will thrill at being able to share this during our offer period,” said Ms Dziva.
Shows to look forward to on Premium include the brand-new season of the legal dramedy The Good Doctor on M-Net (from 5 December at 20:00 ), plus the best movies in the Sunday night movie slot including The King’s Man, The Bad Guys and Moonfall.
Thrill-seekers who get upgraded from Compact to Compact Plus can look out for the new drama-filled season of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City on 1Magic (from 26 December at 19:00 ) and also catch the 6-episode doccie The History of Christianity on Curiosity Channel (25 December from 18:00).
Family customers will be able to sample the world of Compact where they can catch all the best to enjoy during the festive season like The Best Man Holiday (MM2 25 December at 20:00 ), stand-up comedy Trevor Noah: Welcome to America (18 December at 16:50 ) and Mad Madea Week on Studio Universal ( from 12 December).
