Ethiopian Airlines has transported another batch of various medical shipments to Harare, Zimbabwe on its freighter flight which was operated on April 20, 2020.
The 17,060 kg shipment received from Jack Ma Foundation and the World Health Organisation (WHO) contains various testing kits, masks and other medical supplies that serve to fight COVID 19.
Ethiopian Airlines has been continuously engaged in distributing very critical medical supplies to all African countries since the outbreak began in coordination with UN agencies and international humanitarian organizations.
Ethiopian Airlines Country Manager in Zimbabwe, Wogayehu Terefe said, “Ethiopian Airlines has been at the forefront of the fight against COVID19 and is currently transporting live-saving shipments for 54 African countries including Zimbabwe where the airline has been providing uninterrupted services through thick and thin.”
