Lusaka, Tuesday, October 11, 2022: More than 150 golfers will take part in the President and Captain’s tournament to be held at the Chainama Hills Golf Club on Saturday 15th of October 2022. This year’s combined tournament will be jointly hosted by the President of the Club Mr. Paul Nkhoma and the club Captain Col. Sydney Sichimata.
The tournament is a major annual event that is normally held separately. But as a sign of unity, the 2022 tournament will be held as a joint event to thank the club members, staff, and main sponsors whose support goes a long way in growing the club.
Mr. Paul Nkhoma said “together with the captain we are very delighted to be hosting this prestigious tournament and feel gratified that many members and partners have positively responded to the invitation,” he added “It will be a lively and fun golf day,”as the tournament is over-subscribed, and the organising committee has had to set a limit of players to ensure an enjoyable tournament and smooth draw”.
The pair further expressed gratitude to all the organizations that have provided sponsorship as well as various friends that contributed individually and as a group in answering the call for support to the upcoming tournament. These include:

Tee-off will be as early as 07:00 hrs and the prize category will cater to all divisions. The course is playing well and golfers are expected to enjoy the day. The prize-giving cocktail ceremony will follow immediately after the tournament.
