A gender champion and musician, Maizon Tazvitya will belt his catalog of gems in the capital at Old Mutual Theatre at Alliance Francaisse on Thursday.
The show dubbed ‘Orange the World End Violence Against Women Now!’ is promising to be a harbinger of the Ancient Tribes’ frontman’s s continued fight against women abuse.
“I reckon accountability is the key in the fight against gender-based violence,” says the AfroJazz artiste ahead of the show on Wednesday.
The show will kick off at 5 ending at 8 in the evening and according to the organisers, all Covid-19 protocols will be observed.
Asked on what revellers should expect, Maizon slyly says, “It will be AfroJazz at its best. History in the making.”
The Dzivarasekwa-born artiste has released a number of songs that have received heavy rotation on local radio stations and these include Majurumbwe, Tamari, and KwaMungezi just to mention a few.
Churned out by CHIPAWO, the soft-spoken artiste shared the stage with the late Oliver Mutukudzi and Progress Chipfumo in the past.
