An upcoming dance group, ADC Crew scooped the inaugural Mr. P Best Dance Group Award at the finals of this year’s Zim Talent Running under the theme: “Raising awareness against drug abuse.” The event was held on Friday, at Harare Gardens’ Theatre in the Park.
The purpose of the talent show is to realize, appreciate and promote all genres of performing arts.
A five-member group, ADC Crew, got a cash prize. As part of the prize package, the ensemble will travel to South Africa for recording and video shooting. Mr. P (real name Precious Hanya) – a South Africa multi-genre musician and businessman – will pay for all the group’s needs.
Well-known in Afro-jazz circles, Mr. P rose to fame with his second album – The Return – last year. He is currently riding on the waves of stardom with his latest album, Mixed Bag.
