Top local entertainers RayDiz and Junior Brown are set to perform at the inaugural FIFA challenge to be held at Maestro, on 26 September.
The artists will perform at the after-party of the gaming competition along with reggae chanter Celsius, Fyah Linx’s Bonzo, Black Snizzle, Marqeous and Jay C.
Speaking to Spiked Lifestyle, event organizer Ricardo Figuereido said, “We want to double the fun for gamers who will after battling it out in FIFA PlayStation competition will then relax while winners celebrate at the after party.” He said the artists have promised to give their best performances.
“For the general audience it’s free to come watch the tournament but the after party its $3 with a jersey (any football team) $5 without a jersey,” said Figuereido.
Meanwhile, PlayStation fanatics will test each other’s expertise for $1,000 price money, a brand new PlayStation 4 and a FIFA 2016 game. “Contestants will pay a $100 entry fee,” he said. The competition will run from 10am to 6pm while the after party runs till late.
