Mobile telecoms player, NetOne, scooped the biggest prize in the overall best stand by a registered postal and telecommunications operator at the just-ended Zimbabwe Agricultural Show (ZAS) 2023 annual event.
The prize was among other winners which included the best overall exhibition, the best overall exhibition by an institution in the education, arts sports, and culture sector and the best overall exhibition by an educational institution.
ZAS president, Ngoni Kudenga, said the use of technologies among stakeholders enhances increased productivity in the value chain economy.
“Your Excellency, comrades, and friends, ZAS has since the beginning of the year adopted its theme for increased production. The theme is opportune as it raises awareness among agricultural stakeholders to utilize modern technologies for increased productivity opportunities and advantages in a climate change realm,” Kudenga said in his remarks.
ZAS was held from August 29 to September 2.
Then President-elect, HE Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa officially opened the exhibition last Friday.
