Zimbabwe to celebrate World Milk Day

Zimbabwe will tomorrow join the rest of the world in commemorating World Milk Day. The country’s Dairy Industry stakeholders which include government, processors, farmers, and consumers will come together to celebrate this day in style.

A number of activities are lined up for the day.

“Drum majorettes supported by Airforce of Zimbabwe Brass Band will entertain participants at the event. Industry captains and our guest speaker will address the people at the gathering. Participants will be allowed to visit the exhibitions and get to taste the unique dairy product ranges that are proudly Zimbabwean. Products will also be available for sale. All are welcome to participate. We will have entertainment from guest artist XQ,” Adeva Machiso, the communications manager of Zimbabwe Farmers’ Union (ZFC) told Spiked Online Media.

Apart from the government, companies, and organisations like We Effect, TranZDVC, Nestle, ProDairy, YoMilk, DenDairy, Kefalos, Dairibord, ZADF, SADA, and ZFU among others.
