Netherlands-based singer Vimbai Zimuto will be teaming up with Jiti-singer Baba Harare and Diana Samukange at her EP launch for what promises to be an explosive show on Friday.
The controversial afro-pop diva will be launching the ‘Muto EP’ at Jasen Mphepo Little Theatre.
The former Oliver Mtukudzi backing vocalist hogged the limelight after starring in a raunchy video of her single Hapana Kwaunoenda.
The show will be supported by Baba Harare, born Brave Chizvino who is a darling among many Jiti-lovers because of his ‘dirty lyrics’ and waist-gyrating dances that have seen him being a ladies’ favourite.
The other supporting act is Diana Samukange who has evolved from being an ‘urban grooves’ artiste to being one of the most sought-after mbira female players in the country.
For any reveler in Harare, the Jasen Mphepo Little Theatre is the perfect place to be tomorrow as the weekend beckons and this was echoed by JMLT official Karen Muradzikwa.
“We are ready to host Vimbai’s EP launch and tickets have been selling like hotcakes.
“Looking forward also to the top of the notch performances from Baba Harare and Diana Samukange. We are confident that this will be an epic show,” assured Muradzikwa.
