BOTSWANA-based music star – Craib ‘Mr. Chocolate’ Muchenjekwa – is ready to conquer the music industry and has promised fireworks following the release of his debut album ‘Go Sheba Sheba’ which he collaborated with Botswana music queen Slizer.
Mr. Chocolate and Slizer (born Naledi Kaisara) collaborated on the title track ‘Go Sheba Sheba’ and have since shot a juicy video for the song which will cause a stir on the music scene.
Mr. Chocolate who fronts the New Age Stouch band said he knows how hard it is to make a breakthrough in the music industry but he is confident that he will be embraced by the fans.
“I am over the moon following the launch of my debut album and I am ready to shake the music industry. My wish is that music fans will embrace me,” he said.
The young crooner says he is keen to follow in the footsteps of fellow musicians such as Jah Prayzah and Mambo Dhuterere who are making huge strides on the music scene and he believes that his collaboration with Slizer will open doors for him to reach the top of the game.
“Right now everywhere you go, Jah Prayzah and Mambo Dhuterere are the real deal, and so my wish is to follow in their footsteps and reach to their level someday.
“I believe collaborating with Slizer on my debut album will open doors for me in the industry as we all know Slizer is a star here in Southern Africa. So I am keeping myself busy in the studio producing more music,” he said.
Some of the songs on Mr Chocolate’s album are ‘Amai vane zondzo’, Chamuzerere, Imari here, Tichachengetwa nengoma and Mabhutsu-mambama.
