Brity Yonly Drops A Song of Hope

By Tsitsi Ndabambi

China-based Zimbabwean songbird Brity Yonly dropped a new music video titled “Celebrate Life” which sends positive vibes to the viewer especially in this age where many have lost their lives to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking of her new offering she had this to say, “I wrote this song to instill hope, happiness and encourage people to appreciate and value life. Many people are currently living a fearful and hopeless life due to this pandemic, leading to trauma and depression. Hence as an artist, it is my duty to comfort people and encourage them to celebrate life because it is a special gift from God. We ought to cherish and value it.”

“In a world where hope is now scarce due to the pandemic, I hope and trust that the song will bring hope and happiness to my fellow Zimbabweans and that it is going to remind them that they are not alone in this situation. We shall fight COVID together.”

“Life this side is also hard because of COVID-19. A lot of businesses and livelihoods are being affected day in day out but if we keep on practicing safety and praying we will surely conquer this pandemic.

“I want to thank my fans for standing with me and for believing in my talent. They give me hope, may God bless them abundantly.”

The soul-soothing song “Celebrate Life” production which cost Brity USD $1000, was produced by a South Africa based producer Fsea and the video was directed and produced by Afrokid in Xiamen City, China.
